The stress of being in school full time and essentially unemployed is almost over for me. But three of my classmates are about to embark on a journey that will take over more of their life than school ever did for me. They are pregnant! Two baby girls are due in August and one "sex unknown" baby is due in November. To celebrate their impending arrival, we had a little baby shower this afternoon. I was just excited for the opportunity to bake for everyone, have an afternoon glass of wine, and bestow packages of diapers on everyone. Everyone was counting down the days until graduation....we are officially at 6! Here are a few of the pictures from the shower.

One of my classmates came to visit me on the L&D unit yesterday to take pictures for our graduation slideshow. This is what I look like at work.

I am actively trying to conquer everything on my Charlottesville "to-do" list before I start working. Although, once I finish it, I'll just have to start all over. This weekend I crossed off Polo at King Family Vineyards. I can't believe I've never been before but it is now my favorite Sunday afternoon activity. Jamie and I set up our chairs, brought a picnic lunch and dined in sophistication right outside the winery. They play through September so if anyone wants to come down and join me, come on!

Horses and polo people on the field

In action, there they go

Stomping divits during half time

Jamie and I acting sophisticated

This was the only folding chair I could find. Shouldn't be a coincidence though, I was born to be a director

More action on the field

What a gorgeous day for polo. Look at those mountains and clouds!

I just can't figure out why nurses don't wear those hot little caps they used to. Sara and I spent a day at Culpeper hospital this week and I spotted one of those little old fashioned things. With my love of costumes and dressing up in ridiculous outfits, I was immediately drawn to it. I promise that the cap wearing was only a short lived stunt and I did not enter any patient rooms while wearing it, although some may have found it funny. Anyway, here is the official photography of Nurse Lindsey and Nurse Sara.
