Why not a hike on Monday?

Ragged Mountain Natural Area is just around the corner from school so we took a hike this afternoon...after getting lost with the Garmin. Should have just gone the way we knew how to begin with, but I wanted to play with my new toy. So after leading us down a closed dirt road in the middle of some random neighborhood, we ditched the Garmin and took the road we knew.

Another month off....

Being back in college is all the rage, I promise...minus the debt. But we'll find someone to pay for that later. Maybe an employer who will realize how fabulous we all are. But in the mean time, I have another month to veg and recharge a little bit. I've already made a few trips to the library, trying to get a head start on the semester (that's the huge geek in me) and have applied for a job at the hospital. I've also figured out all of the fun things my new electronic gadgets can do, so here are the pictures from Christmas and my birthday!
