This is the latest craze to hit facebook. Write 25 random facts about yourself. Since some of you still don't have facebook accounts, for reasons I'll never understand, here's my 25. Email me your 25 please!

1. I can drink obscene amounts of Diet Coke. It has been my favorite beverage for as long as I can remember.
2. Katie Bremer and I once rescued a couch from the parking garage of our apartment complex. A little fabric cleaner, a little febreeze, and voila, beautiful new couch.
3. I work out in full make up. Even if I go to the gym first thing in the morning. Old habits die hard...or never.
4. I am one of the most frugal people you will ever meet. If there is a deal to be found, I can find it.
5. I think public farting is funnier than a ten year old boy.
6. I will make far less money as a nurse than as an auditor but I am much more fulfilled by delivering babies.
7. There are two songs I learned when I was 12 that have proven very helpful to me over the years. The first is Fifty Nifty, the United States in alphabetical order. The other is the verbs of BE song taught by Mrs. Reznikoff in 7th grade.
8. I pee at least 12 times a day/night.
9. I am intolerant of tardiness and messiness.
10. I have been called to jury duty in every place I've ever lived...except Williamsburg, but that is because there is no crime in Williamsburg.
11. I cried driving away from Colorado and vow to one day go back for good.
12. I have broken all of my fingers (excluding thumbs) playing basketball.
13. I like my middle name, Blair.
14. I hate dogs. Animals should live outside. Things that smell, shed, poop without wiping, sniff crotches and jump on your chest should live in the wild. Also, people who insist on having dogs should train them to be still and quiet.
15. Julie Boyle and I won first place at the DECA state competition two years in a row in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing category.
16. I love monster truck jams.
17. I'm fairly honest. If you had food stuck between your teeth, I would tell you. Even if it was in front of a lot of people.
18. I TIVO lots of shows. Some favorites are Grey's Anatomy, Project Runway, The Chelsea Handler Show, The Biggest Loser & Nip/Tuck.
19. Once I checked into a hotel under someone else's name and then proceeded to pass out in the room. I woke up naked to my angry friends and Mr. Milton who brought the cops with him.
20. I believe in unicorns.
21. I hate checking voicemail on my phone. Something about calling the voicemail and entering my password to hear you talk seem so inefficient. We all have caller ID. If you call, I will see it. If you have something short to tell me, text me. I prefer you only leave me a voicemail if you have an extremely funny story to tell.
22. I hit snooze about ten times each day.
23. I had this weird obsession with Mark McGuire in college after he broke the single season home run record. I even had a poster of him in my bedroom. Now that I think about it, that was crazy. Sorry about that Amber and Emily:-)
24. My little brother is one of the funniest people I know and I love him to death.
25. Oysters make me vomit. What's the point of swallowing a slimy thing without tasting it anyway?

It feels like Christmas and my birthday happened so long ago already. Must be because I'm still going 100mph and the sleep deprivation is making me a little delusional. Here are the pictures from Christmas 2008 and my 27th (wimper) birthday.

School is getting really interesting these days. We are taking some classes that I'm really excited about like Care Environment, Epidemiology and Health Policy. We are also beginning to plan our capstone projects. I'm actually seeing how I will be able to blend internal audit with nursing like bread and butter and how my auditing experience has prepared me well for this project and others down the road. This project has to do with improving practice in some way or making a process more efficient, saving money, improving patient care...something along those lines. I'm already thinking of how I'll have to schedule meetings with managers and leaders from different departments, create a risk and control matrix and write lots of narratives! It really is funny, but I'm kinda glad both of my careers are coming together like this. It makes me feel like auditing was really worthwhile and I actually miss doing something that I know how to do fairly well. Oh, how the stars align sometimes.
